Boost your biotin levels with these Solgar Biotin Capsules Biotin could be just the B vitamin you’ve been missing in your life. Naturally found in fish, dairy, nuts, leafy green vegetables, pulses and mushrooms, biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that helps your body perform an array of important functions. Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, can help you to maintain a healthy nervous system, psychological function, metabolic system, hair and skin. Because it is water soluble, you need to make sure you consume enough every day. What are the benefits of biotin? Biotin can support healthy hair: maintaining biotin levels helps to keep your hair healthy and looking good. Biotin can support metabolic function: biotin is required by several enzymes that are involved with converting energy from food and drink into energy in our bodies. These enzymes help to break down amino acids and nutrients in carbs, fats and proteins. Biotin can support the nervous system: biotin helps keep our nervous system functioning normally. The nervous system is responsible for a lot of what your body does, e.g. walking, speaking, swallowing, breathing and learning. Biotin can support normal psychological function: from regulating our mood to learning a new skill, biotin can help keep our cognitive functions running smoothly. Biotin can support healthy skin: biotin helps your body to maintain healthy skin and normal mucus (natural body oil) production.
