PROUD OF OUR ORIGIN: Since 1887, the production of ClĂ©ment rhum has been carried out according to the purest traditions and most-time honored methods inherited from HomĂšre and Charles ClĂ©ment. This ""very old"" Rhum Agricole, benefits from the âAppellation dâOrigine ContrĂŽlĂ©eâ(Controlled Designation of Origin), a testimony itself of its quality. OUR PROCESS:This aged Rhum Agricole is elaborated at Habitation ClĂ©ment in the respect of Martiniqueâs traditions. After the pure sugarcane juice was fermented and distilled, this VSOP Rhum is aged a miminum of 4 years in oak casks. It matured elegantly and draws its great complexity from the alternative use of virgin oak and Bourbon barrels. TASTING NOTES: This VSOP matured in oak and bourbon barrels reveals woody vanilla flavors that touch the palate with a note of fleshy coconut. It offers a unique softness with perfect balance and a sutble accent of smoke reminiscent of Bourbon. BEST SERVE: Rhum VSOP ClĂ©ment is to be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail. OUR DRINK OF CHOICE: Rhum Old Fashioned - 6 cl ClĂ©ment V.S.O.P - 0,5 cl sparkling water - 3 Bitters Angostura drops - 1 sugar cube - Ice cubes - 1 Orange zest Place the sugar cube in the glass and pour in the bitters. Pour in the sparkling water and crush until the sugar melts. Add the rum and ice cubes, then stir. Garnish with an orange peel and enjoy!
