The Sealey Digital Brake Disc Caliper is a precision measuring instrument designed for accurate brake disc thickness assessment in automotive workshops. Constructed from hardened and tempered stainless steel, this digital caliper delivers professional-grade accuracy with a measurement range of 0-100mm (0-4") and resolution of 0.01mm (0.0005"). The 11mm LCD display features high-contrast figures for clear reading in workshop lighting conditions, with the flexibility to switch between metric and imperial units to suit your preference. The hold function allows you to lock measurements for recording, whilst the zero setting control enables comparative measurements when assessing disc wear across multiple vehicles. Ideal for garages, MOT testing centres, and mobile mechanics who need to verify brake disc thickness against manufacturer specifications, this digital caliper provides accurate readings to determine whether discs meet minimum thickness requirements. The serial port connection allows data transfer to a computer for record-keeping and reporting purposes. Complete with a protective storage case and two LR44 batteries, the caliper is ready to use straight from the box.
