Thompson And Morgan Daffodil Container Collection Planting Bulb 48 Pack

Transforms patio pots and containers with Thompson and Morgan Daffodil Container Collection Planting Bulb 48 Pack. It has cheerful blooms and a sweet fragrance that lifts any outdoor space. Compact varieties are perfect for balconies, terraces and doorsteps, and you'll find them easy to grow whether you plant them in borders, along paths or as naturalised drifts in grass. The collection includes Narcissus 'Adriana Geertruida', 'Josina Elisabeth' and 'Maria Geertruida', all chosen for their ability to return year after year, producing even more flowers as they establish. Plant in autumn, enjoy a colourful spring display and let the foliage die back naturally for healthy bulbs next season. How to Grow: Plant daffodil bulbs in autumn in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Plant approximately 10cm deep and 10cm apart. For the best display, plant in groups or drifts in containers, borders or informal areas of grass. For an indoor display, plant bulbs in containers of bulb fibre and place them in a cool, dark, well-ventilated position at a maximum temperature of 10°C. Water sparingly to keep the compost moist. When shoots reach around 10cm tall, move the container to a cool, bright position indoors at approximately 16°C. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it in June or July. This helps feed the bulbs for the following year. If naturalised in grass, avoid mowing until the foliage has died back.
